What Do I Include in My Application
and Where Should I Send it?

Below you'll find a detailed list of what to include with each law school application, followed by where to send each item. After that you'll find brief info about application fee waivers. Here's what to include:

Individual law schools generally begin distributing applications in summer. Each application will be different, and you should allow lots of time to complete each one. Many application forms can be completed online.

Where to Send Your Application Materials:

  • To the Law School Data Assembly Service (which can be accessed through the LSAC site):
    • Official Transcript
    • Letters of Recommendation
    • LSAT scores will be included in the law school report

  • To the Law School
    • Application and Fee
    • Personal Statement

What if I can't afford to apply for law school?
You can apply for the Law School Admission Council Fee Waiver program. This waiver is rarely given out, and you must demonstrate strong financial need.

  • Visit www.lsac.org and click on "Downloadable Forms" to find the LSAC fee waiver.
  • You must apply for the fee waiver approximately 2 months before your intended test date.
