CLA Undergraduate Internship Grant
PURPOSE:
Internships are great way to enhance your academic experience. The CLA
Undergraduate Internship Grant Program is designed to provide some
financial assistance to students participating in unpaid internships.
THE GRANT AWARDS: The following competitive $1200 awards are available:
- CLA Undergraduate Internship Awards: Several of these $1200 general grants are awarded each semester to CLA students
pursuing internships that relate to their major.
- Elden Johnson Award: This $1200 grant is designated for
a student who is working with public archaeology, museums or American
Indian Studies in some way.
- Paul and Lucienne Taylor Award:
These awards are supplemental monies ($600) to an English major doing a
writing-intensive internship. Eligible students who receive one of the general $1200 CLA Undergraduate Internship Grant awards may be
nominated by the CLA Undergraduate Internship Grant committee for these
supplemental funds. The English Department makes the final decision for this award.
After you turn in your application packet, you will automatically be considered for all grants for which you are eligible.
