What can I do with a major in...
Sociology?
You can do a lot with this major! Sociology majors go on to successful careers in law enforcement, academics, advocacy, politics, government, publishing, the arts, research, and much more.
Within the Sociology Department, students will find two concentrations: General Sociology, and Law, Criminology, and Deviance (LCD). The General Option allows for flexibility and specialization within sociology, whereas the LCD option prepares students for a wide range of careers and graduate studies including law and psychology. Additionally, students may choose between the B.A. and B.S. degrees.
