What can I do with a major in...
Individualized Degree Programs (BIS/IDIM)?

You can do a lot! Graduates of Individualized Degree Programs go on to successful careers in almost every field imaginable, including business, academics, international relations, government, publishing, the arts, research, and much more.

The University of Minnesota offers a Bachelor of Individualized Study (BIS) and the Individually Designed Interdepartmental Major (IDIM). For more information, see the BIS/IDIM Web site. Through these options, students can tailor their areas of study to their unique interests and goals.

For information beyond what you find below, stop by our office in 135 Johnston Hall. Our popular "What Can I Do With a Major in ___?" binders are filled with information about every major in CLA.
