On-Campus Recruiting Info for Employers

The Career and Community Learning Center coordinates on-campus recruiting events for College of Liberal Arts students during fall and spring semesters. Employers may request on-campus recruiting for full-time positions that require a bachelor's degree. Employers may also request on-campus recruiting for internships and co-ops that require students to be working toward a liberal arts degree.

Employers are strongly encouraged to submit on-campus recruiting requests early, as space on campus fills quickly. Significant advance notice also allows us time to effectively promote your event.

Please follow the steps listed below to initiate the scheduling of your on-campus recruiting event.

Note: Before requesting a date, review the University of Minnesota's academic calendar (choose Twin Cities and the year) to avoid selecting a date during student breaks.
  1. Create an employer account on GoldPASS by going to http://goldpass.umn.edu and signing up as a new employer. It will take 1 to 2 days for your account to be reviewed and approved.
  2. After your account has been approved in GoldPASS, you’re welcome to submit a request for on-campus interviews. Please submit your request at least 6 weeks before your preferred interview date. To submit your request, complete the interview schedule request form in GoldPASS. After logging in to your GoldPASS account, click the "On-Campus Interviews" tab, then click "New Interview Schedule Request." Complete and submit this form with as much detail as possible.

If you’re interested in recruiting CLA students in other ways (for example, through the University of Minnesota Job and Internship Fair) or you have questions about recruiting options other than on-campus interviews, please contact our Employer Relations staff.
  3. An Employer Relations representative will follow-up with you within 2 business-days to discuss your request.
