Post Market Regulatory Compliance, Boston Scientific

Mark Mischke

Major(s): Political Science

Current Job Title: Post Market Regulatory Compliance

Brief description of you job:

I recently accepted a position at Boston Scientific in Maple Grove, MN working in the Quality/Regulatory Compliance division for Cardiology. I assist the Operations Management team with regulatory compliance on various cardiology implants, including an industry-leading drug-eluding stent.

I assist the sales and marketing on the front lines by initiating product complaints, produce treding reports that reach beyond my department. I assist in identifying the root cause of the problems we encounter and work towards perfecting the product.

What advice do you have for current students?

Try to broaden your career goals. They may lead you down a path that you may never have imagined. This in turn my help you discover interests that you were unaware of. Do not be afraid to take a risk.
