Name: Angela Borek

Major(S): BA Chemistry

Current Job Title: Pharmacy Intern / Graduate Student

Organization: 3M / U of M College of Pharmacy

How have you found these positions? I found this opportunity through one of the classes I took through the Chem Dept, which was taught by 3 individuals who work at 3M.

What skills from your degree do you use in your current work?  About 1/3 of the class was dedicated to pharmacy, which I found extremely interesting.  Having a background in chem gave me an edge in school by knowing the properties of different chemical structures.

What advice do you have for current students? My advice for the current students is not only should you work hard in your classwork, but to get involved in other activities around campus b/c employeers/grad schools are looking for well-rounded individuals.
