Office Specialist, University of Minnesota Dance Program

Nora Jenneman

Major(s): Dance

Current Job Title: Office Specialist

Organization: U of M Dance Program

Brief description of your job:

Clerical/Administrative support to the dance majors, prospective students and faculty in the U of MN Dance Program. Dancer/Performer with Paula Mann's Time Track Productions (Professional Modern Dancer)

What advice do you have for current students?

I would advise students to explore and take advantage of the incredible amount of opportunities in the College of Liberal Arts and the University of Minnesota: including internship opportunities in their field and UROP grants for creative/scholarly research. I would also encourage students to do anything that would prepare them for arts‑related jobs, including clerical experience, knowledge of grants/grant writing, performance production details and/or teaching experience.
