What skills from your degree do you use in your current work?
Cultural
studies and context are an extremely important component of my work. I use my Spanish a lot in my everyday life.
What advice do you have for current students?
Find your
passion, but feed your mind. I volunteered on campus for the University YMCA
for 4 years and am still involved on a local and national level. A lot of doors were opened for me because I
was involved in my community outside of my academic work.
