Responsible for the field operations of 15 Local Offices in 10 states measured by a high quality of client service and volunteer experience, manages national partnerships, supervises a program team of 3 permanent staff and 19 AmeriCorps members, designs data collection, analysis, and performance measurement systems.

What skills from your degree do you use in your current work?

Cultural studies and context are an extremely important component of my work.  I use my Spanish a lot in my everyday life.

What advice do you have for current students?

Find your passion, but feed your mind. I volunteered on campus for the University YMCA for 4 years and am still involved on a local and national level.  A lot of doors were opened for me because I was involved in my community outside of my academic work.
