Brief description of your job:
I work in the arbitrage rebate department of an investment banking firm in the Southwest. I perform rebate calculations on municipal bonds. Our clients consist of Cities, States, School Districts, Housing and Port Authorities, and other Government entities. Other areas in the firm that might be of interest to Econ/Finance/Math/Accounting majors would be: the trading desk, public finance, and corporate finance departments.
