How many schools did you apply to? What criteria did you use in picking these schools?
11. I cross referenced my LSAT score with my area of interest (crim law) and chose based on states I would want to live/practice in.

How did you prepare for the LSAT? Do you have any advice I prepared with a book and a CD rom. Practice, practice, practice!

What strategies did you use in networking with the professors and employers who wrote letters of recommendation for you? Make sure that your professors know you. Go to office hours, even if you don't need to. Ask questions. Make sure they can match a name with your face.

How did you go about writing your personal statement? How much did you change your personal statement to fit each school? I used the exact same personal statement for all school, unless the page lengths were different. I thought about why I wanted to be in law school and why I thought it was a career that I would find fulfilling and I expounded on that.

Ifyou had a chance to go through the process again, is there anything you would have done differently? Start way in advance. DO NOT wait until your senior year, which is what I did. It's much too stressful. Start way in advance, since it's a long, long process.

Any final advice? Early early early. I can't stress it enough. Take the LSAT by October at the latest, get your apps in starting ASAP, don't wait. Get everything rolling, because everything takes way more time that you think it does! EARLY! I can't express how important that is! But, don't worry if you are doing things later--keep doing it, just be prepared to be on the ball.
